Learn How to Restore Your Teeth's
Dental veneers are wafer-thin, custom-made shells designed to cover the front surface of teeth. When the shells are bonded to a tooth, they can change the tooth's color, size, shape or length.
Dental veneers can be made from porcelain or resin composite materials. Porcelain veneers are more resistant to staining than resin veneers and appear more natural.
Veneers are commonly used for situations that include:
• Discolored or stained teeth
• Chipped or broken teeth
• Irregular-shaped or misaligned teeth
• Gaps between teeth
Dental veneers typically last anywhere from 5 to 10 years depending on how they are cared for and maintained.
